I am a 16 year old high school student with a passion for animals. My love for animals started with my parents. Before I was born they fostered and volunteered at rescues. Naturally I joined as soon as I could. At the age of 4 I was walking dogs, cleaning kennels, filling kongs, and pretty much anything I could at the rescue as well as at
I am a 16 year old high school student with a passion for animals. My love for animals started with my parents. Before I was born they fostered and volunteered at rescues. Naturally I joined as soon as I could. At the age of 4 I was walking dogs, cleaning kennels, filling kongs, and pretty much anything I could at the rescue as well as at home with our fosters. As I got older my love for animals continued to grow. I volunteered at a grooming salon on my summer breaks helping with boarding and washes. I currently volunteered at a clinic in Cleveland,TX with This Is Houston Rescue giving vaccinations, deworming medication, microchipping, and fostering. I am taking all the animal science classes my high school offers and have raised a pig two years with our local FFA. I found a summer veterinary certificate program at A&M for aspiring vets in high school, applied, was accepted, and attended Texas A&M Kingsville this June. My dream is to become an exotic veterinarian and work with animals from all walks of life.
